Familienzuwachs!

On Tuesday arrived our exchange partners. Now there's one more person in each family and it's very different but I like it.

El martes llegaron nuestros compaNeros del intercambio. Ahora en cada familia hay una ersona más q es muy diferente pero a mí me gusta eso.

Dienstag sind unsere Austauschpartner wiedergekommen. Jetzt ist in jeder Familie eine Person mehr, was ziemlich anders ist, aber mir gefällt es so.

BBQ at Hanne's house

Today I went to a BBQ in Hanne's house with his family, Swanny's family and the family of our teacher. It was a nice evening with nice people and good food. 

Hoy fui a una barbacoa en casa de Hannes con su familia, la familia se Swanny y la familia de nuestro coordinador. Me lo pasó bien con la gente buena y la comida más rica.

Heute bin ich zu einem BBQ bei Hannes zu Hause gegangen. Wir waren dort mit seiner Familie, Swannys Familie und der Familie unseres Koorinatoren, Es war ein schöner Nachmittag mit netten Leuten und leckerem Essen.

whale watching without whales!

Today we went in the south with a few Biology classes of our school to watch whales, dolphins and turtles. So we drove by boat on the sea and we saw actually many dolphins and a few big turtles, but the whales didn't come. The dolphines were amazing!

Hol fuimos al sur con unos cursos de biología de nuestro colegio para ver delfines, tortugas y ballenas. Entonces fuimos en barco al mar donde encontramos muchos delfines y unas tortugas grandes pero no encontramos ninguna ballena.

Heute sind wir mit ein paar Biokursen unserer Schule in den Süden gefahren, um dort Delfine, Schildkröten und Wale zu sehen. Wir sind dann also mit einem Boot weit aufs Meer gefehren und haben dort auch tatsächlich sehr viele Delfine un ein paar große Schildkröten gesehen, nur Wale waren leider nicht da.

Aqualand

Today I went to aqualand in Maspalomas with Hannes, Swanny and her family. We didn't stay there for a long time because it was pretty cold but anyway we enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun.

Hoy fui a “aqualand” en Maspalomas con Hannes, Swanny y su familia. El sol no salió por lo que nos fuimos pronto pero aparte de eso nos lo pasamos bien.

 Heute bin ich mit Hannes, Swanny und dessen Familie ins Aqualand gefahren, einen Wasserpark in Maspalomas. Wir sind relativ früh wieder gefahren, weil der Tag sehr bewölkt war, aber wie hatten viel Spaß.

Urlaaaaub!

The last week we were on holidays in Puerto Rico, a city in the South of Gran Canaria. The weather was great, we had a swimming pool, we could walk to the beach and we just had lots of fun. Most days we stayed at home and played games, swam, talked, ate … But also we went to the beach and for a stroll. It was a great time.

El miercoles llegamos a casa, estabamos casi cinco días en Puerto Rico, una ciudad en el sur de Gran Canaria. El tiempo estaba muy bien, enfrente de nuestro apartamento había una piscina, la playa estaba cerca y nos lo pasabamos bien. Muchos días pasabamos en casa donde jugamos, nos baNamos, charlamos, comimos, … Pero un día fuimos a la playa y unas veces fuimos a una vuelta. Todo en todo era fantástico.

Mittwoch sind wir aus dem Urlaub zurückgekommen: Wir waren knapp fünf Tage in Puerto Rico, einer Stadt im Süden von Gran Canaria. Das Wetter war super, die Anlage, in der wir gewohnt haben, hatte einen Pool, außerdem konnten wir zu Fuß zum Strand laufen und wir hatten auch einfach so eine Menge Spaß. Die meisten Tage haben wir in der Anlage verbracht, haben Karten gespielt, gebadet, geredet, gegessen, … Aber wir haben auch mal den Vormittag am Strand verbracht oder sind spazieren gegangen. Insgesamt war es eine schöne Zeit!

 

Easter Holidays / Semana Santa / Osterferien

The next week we’ll have Easter Holidays („Semana Santa“). Most of my friends from here will go in the South with a few friends or to another Canary Island with their families or they just stay home. Of course they don’t celebrate Easter like in Germany, here aren’t rabbits and colored eggs… Well, next year!

La siguiente semana es la “Semana Santa”. La mayoría de mis amigos canarios van a ir al sur con unos amigos o a otra isla canaria con su familia o se van a quedar en casa. Claro que Pascua es diferente aquí, no conejos, ni huevos pintados… Bueno, el próximo aNo!

Die kommende Woche haben wir Osterferien („Semana Santa“). Die meisten, die ich hier kenne, fahren entweder mit ein paar Freunden in den Süden oder mit ihrer Familie auf eine benachbarte Insel oder bleiben halt zu Hause. Ostern wird hier natürlich nicht so gefeiert wie in Deutschland, es wird gar nicht gefeiert. Keine Hasen, keine bemalten Eier, …  Naja, nächses Jahr wieder!
