The island / La isla / Die Insel

In the next week were the students of the TFT Comenius Project, students of six different countries (Germany, England, Romania, Italy, Turkey and Poland), in our school. All the week we’ve done activities with them and so we saw a lot of the island. We were hiking in Tejeda, we let us shown the school and met the headmistress. Moreover we played games on Las Canteras Beach, heard presentations of the Spanish students about Gran Canaria and let us shown the city of Las Palmas by them. We met the mayor, we were in the north of the island and one day we were in the south, in Maspalomas, to play in the dunes and to do water activities. The week was great but also exhausting. We met many people of different countries. The only disadvantage was that Comenius is an English project and so we didn’t speak much Spanish.

Esta semana estuvieron los alumnos del proyecto Comenius, alumnos de seis países diferentes (Alemania, Inglaterra, Rumania, Italia, Turquía y Polonia), en nuestro colegio. Durante toda la semana hicimos actividades con ellos y vimos muchas partes de la isla. Estuvimos en una montaña en Tejeda, los españoles nos ensenaron el colegio y conocimos a la directora. Además jugamos a juegos en la playa Las Canteras, escuchamos las presentaciones de los espaňoles sobre Gran Canaria y nos enseňaron la ciudad de Las Palmas donde conocímos al alcalde de la ciudad. Otro día fuimos al norte de la isla, y me parecio muy bonita, y otro día fuimos al sur, a la playa de Maspalomas donde jugamos en las dunas e hicimos actividades en el mar, el dia estaba muy bueno y soleado. Toda la semana estuvo muy bien pero bastante agotadora, conocí a mucha gente de muchos países. Pero lo que no me gusto mucho, es que fuese un proyecto ingles, por lo que no pude practicar demasiado el español.

In der nächsten Woche fand das Projekt Comenius statt, also waren Gastschüler aus 6 verschiedenen Ländern (Deutschland, England, Rumänien, Italien, Türkei & Polen) an unserer Schule. Zusammen mit ihnen und ihren spanischen Partnern haben wir die ganze Woche lang Ausflüge gemacht und so sehr viel von der Insel gesehen. Wir waren auf einem Berg in einem Ort namens Tejeda, haben die Schule und auch die Schulleiterin kennengelernt, haben am Las Canteras Beach  Spiele gespielt. Außerdem haben wir uns Präsentationen über Gran Canaria von den spanischen Schülern angehört und uns von ihnen auch die Stadt (Las Palmas) zeigen lassen. Wir haben den Bürgermeister kennengelernt, waren im Norden der Insel und an einem Tag waren wir im Süden, in Maspalomas, haben in den Dünen gespielt und Wateractivities gemacht. Die Woche war sehr schön, aber auch anstrengend. Wir haben viele Leute aus verschiedenen Ländern kennengelernt. Der einzige Nachteil war, dass das Projekt über englisch läuft und wir so wenig spanisch sprechen konnten.
